<\/a><\/p>\n Thanks to Opera’s Bruce Lawson (@brucel<\/a>) sharing the link on Twitter I discovered\u00a0Oli (@boblet<\/a>) Studholme’s\u00a0“2011 in review: 20\u00a0HTML5 sites that changed the game<\/a>“<\/em>\u00a0piece on netmagazine.com. It’s a great showcase of pages that exploit new web technology to good effect. \u00a0I first saw the link while browsing with the Android 2.3 browser on a Motorola Photon and was surprised and pleased that both .net magazine and many of the showcased sites (HTML5 for Web Developers,<\/a>\u00a0Move the Web Forward<\/a>,\u00a0The Boston Globe<\/a>,\u00a0SoundCloud<\/a>, Anatomy of A Mashup<\/a> and\u00a0Rally Interactive<\/a>)\u00a0reformatted themselves nicely and worked well in the mobile environment.<\/p>\n Of course, the majority of the showcased sites use bleeding edge features that barely work in desktop browsers, so don’t expect everything to work with your mobile browser.
